We’re deepening our commitment to doing good.

Azul Seven became a registered General Benefits Corporation through the state of Minnesota in March 2015. By becoming a B Corp, the Azul Seven team declared that we were creating a company that had a positive impact on our staff, community and environment. On March 23, 2016, Azul Seven took our commitment to the next level by becoming a Certified B Corporation. Certification meant that we had not only declared our intent to do good, but that we had been measured against a rigorous set of standards of social and environmental performance, transparent governance and legal accountability.

Throughout much of 2015, Azul Seven worked to become a certified B Corporation through B Lab, a non-profit thought leader and developer of the B Corporation impact assessment. B Lab has worked to promote the B Corp movement, change state laws establishing B Corporations as a legal entity, as well as set standards by which companies can measure their impact in comparison to other companies in their industries.

Azul Seven has submitted our first annual report as a new general benefits corporation. The report outlines our goals and challenges for 2016 and how we are working to improve our public benefits impact for our community, staff, and the environment.
